Linear Screen

Linear screens are high-efficiency screening equipment used to separate fine particles from slurry or wet materials through linear vibratory motion. They are widely applied in mineral processing, coal preparation, and dewatering operations where precise particle classification and effective moisture removal are required.
Engineering Overview
Metzix Linear Screens are heavy-duty wet classification and carbon/trash removal machines designed specifically for high-capacity slurry operations. Built around a continuous, tensioned synthetic screen cloth moving over support rollers and vacuum assist zones, the linear screen removes wood chips, tramp fiber, plastic debris, and oversized grit from milled slurries ahead of CIP/CIL gold leaching circuits and flotation cells. High-pressure spray bars ensure total undersize slurry passage and clean trash discharge.
