1. Agreement and Acceptance
By accessing our website, requesting manufacturing quotations, or entering into a production agreement with Metzix ("we," "our," or "us"), you acknowledge and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not accept all terms outlined herein, please discontinue using our digital services and refrain from issuing purchase orders.
2. Quotations, Pricing & Purchase Orders
All formal price estimates and engineering quotations issued by Metzix are valid for thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue unless specified otherwise in writing. Pricing is subject to adjustment in the event of substantial fluctuations in global raw material indices, metal tariff surcharges, or changes in customer CAD specifications after quotation.
- Purchase orders must include comprehensive dimensional prints, tolerances, material grades, and finish requirements.
- Changes to existing production schedules or engineering drawings must be approved via signed written change orders.
- Cancellation of custom fabrication runs once raw materials are committed may incur cancellation charges.
3. Technical Specifications, Tolerances & CAD Blueprints
Metzix manufactures components according to the engineering CAD files, technical drawings, and tolerance standards approved during pre-production verification. Unless otherwise indicated, standard industry tolerances (ISO 2768-m or equivalent) apply to all CNC machining and metal forming operations.
Precision and repeatability are core to our engineering standards. All manufacturing runs undergo rigorous in-process Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) inspections and certified quality assurance checks.
4. Intellectual Property & Client Confidentiality
We treat all client CAD models, engineering prints, proprietary schematics, and project specifications with strict confidentiality under non-disclosure protocols. Metzix does not replicate, distribute, or reverse-engineer client designs for third parties. All proprietary manufacturing jigs, fixtures, and internal tooling designed by Metzix remain our intellectual property unless explicitly purchased under contract.
5. Delivery, Shipping & Force Majeure
Delivery timetables provided in quotations represent best engineering estimates based on factory loading at the time of quotation. Metzix is not liable for shipment delays arising from Force Majeure events, natural disasters, international port strikes, customs inspections, or unpreventable logistics bottlenecks.
6. Warranties and Limitation of Liability
Metzix warrants that manufactured goods conform to agreed specifications and are free from material defects for ninety (90) days following delivery. In no event shall Metzix be held liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from component usage in third-party assemblies.
