Vacuum Belt Filter

Vacuum belt filters provide continuous solid-liquid separation using a moving filter belt and vacuum suction. They are ideal for high-capacity dewatering applications where consistent cake thickness and efficient washing are required.
Engineering Overview
Metzix Horizontal Vacuum Belt Filters (HVBF) provide continuous solid-liquid separation with multi-stage counter-current cake washing. Slurry is distributed evenly across a continuously advancing synthetic filter cloth supported by a heavy-duty grooved rubber transport belt sliding over fixed vacuum boxes. As the cake travels, dedicated wash zones displace mother liquor with precision, followed by vacuum drying and automated cake discharge. Metzix HVBFs deliver exceptional throughput for coarse-to-medium granular slurries.
